While Tuesday was spent working with our generous, lovely, and talented volunteers; Wednesday was devoted to planting plugs in a newly weeded area along a Civilian Conservation Corps constructed retaining wall overlooking Fall Creek.
Krissy and I picked up a really useful mobile watering tank/pump to get our newly planted plugs all set up.
I also noticed that the Lonicera hirsuta - Hairy Honeysuckle was in bloom for the first time since it's planting. Krissy grew this vine from seed which made its first flowering particularly exciting! What a showy and delightful native.
